Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Hrit. By creating an account, you agree to them.
What this service is
Hrit connects seekers with trained, independent Saarthis for paid audio calls and a limited free chat. It is a space to be heard, not a medical service, and it does not replace a qualified professional when you need one.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate account information, including a working email and phone number. You may not let anyone else use your account or log in as another person.
Booking and calls
Saarthis publish open time slots. When you pick a slot for a 10, 20 or 30 minute call, you send a booking request and the Saarthi has to accept it. Your credits are taken when you request, and returned in full if the Saarthi declines or does not answer in time. Once the call is accepted, both sides can join from 5 minutes before the booked start. There is no way to call a Saarthi outside a booking, and no way to start a call from inside a chat.
Chat
A short free chat is available with a Saarthi who is online, limited to once a day and 10 minutes. Once you book a call, a chat with that Saarthi opens around the booking. A Saarthi will never ask you to pay them directly or push you toward booking a call.
Cancellations and refunds

Recording and consent
Calls are recorded and chat messages are stored by default. You consent to this when you create your account. See our privacy page for how recordings and messages are stored, reviewed and deleted.
Conduct and safety
You can block or report another user at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, behaves abusively, or puts another user's safety at risk.
Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay in Indian rupees. Credits you purchase are used to pay for calls and are non-transferable between accounts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops. We will post the current version here with the date it took effect.
